Quasics' third VEX season was Nothing but Net. Team 9656A built Princess Slaya while 9656B built Han RoBro. 9656A were Finalists at the Sarah Heinz House Qualifier, ranking #15 overall. 9656B competed in the Quarter-Finals, ranking #9 overall. 9656A qualified for the VEX W.PA State Championship. 9656B registered for States as well on an open bid. At States 9656B finished #3 overall and captained the #2 Alliance. They were Tournament Finalists!
Quasics' sophomore VEX season brought the vertical challenge of Skyrise. Team 9656A built Castiel while 9656B built Sharkudary. 9656A were Finalists at the Sarah Heinz House Qualifier, losing in Game 3 of the Finals by a mere 2 points! 9656B competed in the Semi-Finals. Both teams qualified for the VEX PA State Championship in Western Philadelphia in February of 2015. This was the first time our VEX teams advanced to States. There 9656A was again drafted, playing in the State Quarterfinals.
2013/2014 saw Quasics compete in the VEX Robotics Competition for the first time. VEX Teams 9656A and 9656B built two robots for Toss Up. Both Walker and Texas Ranger competed at the local Sarah Heinz House Qualifying Tournament in November of 2013. Both machines would compete again in March of 2014 at a VEX scrimmage hosted by Ambridge High School.
